What is Nutifafa?
Nutifafa is an art competition themed around “Rest Round About,” calling youth to express peace, identity, and healing through visual storytelling. We aim to uplift creative voice and restore cultural pride.

What Mentors Can Do
You can support in any of the following ways, depending on your capacity and interest:

1. Host a Workshop (Virtual or In-Person)

Finding your creative voice

Art as healing or cultural storytelling

How to talk about your work (artist statements, captions)
Icon
Composition, symbolism, or mixed media techniques

2. Inspire or Encourage Artists
Icon
Record a short video or voice note about what “peace” or “identity” means to you as an artist

Share 1–2 quotes or behind-the-scenes stories we can post

3. Provide Feedback
Icon
Review 3–5 submissions (digitally) and give brief written or audio reflections

Optional: offer encouragement messages for finalists

Time Commitment
We respect your time. Most mentors will contribute 1–3 hours total between June 1–28. We’ll coordinate availability and give support materials in advance.
